Had a great short business trip here, and I have to tell you the staff is super friendly and accommodating. I was in town for a training session, in which a conference room was rented, and they went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. I felt that they went over and above by providing the A/V cables we needed as well as printed copies of documents and even AAA batteries. The location seems to be super convenient (I am not familiar with the area) with some restaurants within walking distance. I wish I would have gotten the staff member's names so I could highlight them here, but everyone I encountered was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely return if I am ever back in Wausau!

Incredible experience and thanks y’all! Amazing hotel and staff!! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful, crazy polite!! Angel at check in so cool. Diane at breakfast- amazing and so attentive. Logan and Erica at the Bar - no words on how good they are. Jenson our server was awesome in every way for dinner. And Taylor in engineering was just cool! Y’all are really an exceptional addition to this beautiful property. I wish I got all the cooks names, food was excellent by all standards. Thanks y’all from Austin Texas!

We hosted our wedding from the Wausau Hilton Garden Inn and could not have been more pleased. The price, service and facility were all stellar. The staff made us feel special and appreciated every minute of the two day event.

Great room which led to a great sleep in a super comfortable bed. The shower had pressure which was awesome. Restaurant and bar service was fantastic. Front desk staff were great day and night. The gym was clean and had everything I needed. The pool was nice and had a jacuzzi. I went for a run in the morning and the area is beautiful. No complaints. Will stay again.

This was the nicest Hilton Garden Inn I’ve ever visited! The entire hotel (lobby, restaurant, rooms, amenities) is clean, well-kept, and beautifully decorated. The hotel & restaurant staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. The maid service even left a kind note for us in our room. We truly felt they went above and beyond to make our stay great. We stayed over a weekend and the hotel was very busy with lots of young families, but we never heard any noise in the hallways or in the surrounding rooms. The location is great, with easy access to Granite Peak, downtown Wausau, and Nine Mile Recreation Area. I rarely write online reviews, and this place deserves it!

Can’t thank the staff enough during my stay. My car battery died and they help jumped the car. I forgot my phone and it was shipped back next day. The property was clean with lots of parking. Swimming area included regular sized swimming pool, hot tube, and smaller size pool for kids which was nice if you have little kids.

Just spent a night at this lovely Hilton Garden Inn while dropping our daughter off at camp. The staff was terrific, rooms great and the restaurant/bar was unexpectedly fabulous! We were so tired from traveling and they took care of us and made us feel welcome. Thanks Hilton!

I stay here a couple of times a month. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Rooms are always clean. Van Acre (the restaurant in the hotel) is one of the best places to eat in town. Tip: if you want a view of the mountain, pick an even numbered room. But you will have some noise from the highway.
